Ringwood Neighbourhood Plan appoints Mary DeBoos as project manager

Local marketing expert Mary DeBoos has joined the steering committee of Ringwood Neighbourhood Plan as project manager, overseeing the next stage of the plan’s development as the group prepares to ask the public for views on its initial findings.

Mary DeBoos has a background in Project and Change Management within large corporations such as AstraZeneca, with a focus on behaviour change and marketing. Born and raised in Ringwood, Mary returned to the area 8 years ago and is well known in the local community for her voluntary work, including serving as Chair of the Trustees of Ringwood Actions for Climate Emergency (RACE) and Marketing Officer for the Ringwood Society. Mary also led the prescription service operated by Ringwood Coronavirus Assistance (RCA) during the first lockdown in 2020.

Chair of the Neighbourhood Plan, Councillor John Haywood said “We are delighted to add Mary to the team at a crucial time in the Plan’s development. Bringing someone of Mary’s expertise and passion for moving projects forward as a volunteer is a real asset to the Plan and will help us to deliver what we want for the town.”

Mary is raring to get going, noting “The Neighbourhood Plan is a great way of mapping out a brighter future for our town and I am thrilled to be able to help the team as we progress with getting more input from the people of Ringwood.”
